So Elisa and I have been debating on getting rid of our website since we really never was very satisfied with it. I could not figure out how to use the web hosting company- too difficult. We were also looking at how we could post pictures that had our watermark on them. We needless to say I think we found out how to due it through another company that is very easy to understand. Our very close friends daughter was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor. It is a cancer of the kidneys that typically occurs in children age 3 to 4.You can read her story @ http://jessicasmiracle.blogspot.com. For the next couple months any money we receive for the session on pictures WILL be donated to the Schmitt family. So if you need family pictures, baby pictures, seniors pictures or any pictures just give us a call.

Catching up!!! Here are a few pictures of a dance studio that we did (last May) after getting done with the soccer pictures.

2009 Soccer League

We had the opportunity to be able to take pictures for some of the soccer teams that were playing this year. At first we were nervous about it but it tuned out to be an awesome experience. A couple of days before we were scheduled to take pictures one of the ports in the camera broke. Since it was still under warranty we had to send it back ASAP per nikon. Both Elisa and I had no idea what we were going to do (we had no backup camera). Luckily we found a brand new D200 that a guy was selling from Salt Lake. He was the nicest person. He put the camera on a shuttle so we could have a camera for our scheduled shoot. We have been pretty busy this month with pictures. We are also waiting to hear from the city if we are awarded the bid for youth sports. Hear are a few pictures that we took for the soccer league. We ended up taking pictures for 24 teams.

We are going to try something new this year. Since the economy isn't going very well and money is tight, we are going to do some great deals and giveaways through out the year. We at Simple Elegance Photography don't want families to go with out family pictures, because families grow up way to fast. We will post the new deal or giveaway each month. Well we have finally decided to do a photography blog since we are so slow at getting our website going. Everytime some one asks to see our website I am a little hesitant just because some of our pictures are distorted and it is very tricky how to update our latest photo sessions. Since we do photography and we want the pictures to be the best they can be it doesn't look so attractive or appealing to have distorted pictures. We haven't done really any advertising and now that Cannon is 5 months I think we are finally wanting to get things rolling. Having your own business is alot of work but it is also very fun and exciting. Coty and I work really well together and make a fabulous team!! So if you want pictures that are simple and elegant we are just right for you!! Here are some pictures of the more recent sessions that we have done. We have had so much fun getting to know new people and their amazing families!!
